The current worldwide issues presented by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is unprecedented in modern times and obviously presents a huge challenge to all parts of daily human life. Information and recommendations are constantly changing, as well as differing from country to country, which makes putting a formal statement into place and then stating this is what Batt will be doing impossible.
However, what we can do is share where Batt is currently.

Staff welfare
In order to best protect our staff whilst maintaining the level of service our customers expect, the following measures are in place: -
All of our UK Sales and Administrative offices are now closed with staff working remotely as required.
Our UK warehouses are operating with the level of staff, on a rota basis, needed to safely process the orders being placed. We are reviewing staff requirements on a daily basis. Any members of staff considered ‘high risk’ have been told not to attend work until further notice.

Whilst all Sales offices are physically closed, all are operating remotely. Please continue to make enquiries / place orders as usual and we will process in the normal manner.
We are fully operational across all of our stocking branches around the UK and overseas in line with our staff welfare statement above. Both supply chains and delivery services remain good.

With the exception of our Italian suppliers who have a government imposed shutdown until 6th April, we are not experiencing any issues with deliveries from our suppliers.
We will continue to closely monitor the evolving situation and will update our statement as and when circumstances warrant it.
